Work Environment
This role is based on a swine farm located in a rural area of Ontario. Employees will work directly with livestock and assist with daily farming operations. All duties must be completed on-site.
Key Responsibilities
• Assisting with animal handling and daily care routines
• Monitoring livestock health and reporting concerns
• Collecting and managing boar semen as required
• Operating and maintaining farm equipment and machinery
• Cleaning barns, pens, and livestock facilities
• Monitoring ventilation, temperature, and water systems
• Completing daily farm reports and production records
• Supporting general farm labour and maintenance duties
